Tripura Public Service Commission: Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts

Applications are invited in the prescribed form from bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for recruitment to the under mentioned posts:

1. Principal, Government (General) Degree Colleges: 04posts Qualification: (i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed) from a recognized University. (ii) A Ph. D in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) with evidence of published work and research guidance 2. Associate Professor: 03posts Qualification & Experience: (i) As Assistant Professor in respective branch for 4(four) years in a recognized Medical College. (ii) Minimum of 2(two) Research Publications in Indexed/National Journals. Provided that these Research Publications are published/accepted for publication in the Journals by the National Associations/Societies of the respective specialties as the First/Second Author during the tenure of the Assistant Professor 3. Principal, Industrial Training Institute: 10posts Qualification: (i) Degree in any branch of Engineering preferably with one year’s professional or teaching experience or (ii) Diploma in any branch of Engineering with at least 5(five) years professional and /or teaching experience in an Engineering Workshop or an Industrial Institute 4. Assistant Professor, Technical (Engineering) Degree College in Tripura:(i) Civil Engineering: 03posts (ii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: 01post (iii) Mechanical Engineering: 01post Qualification: BE/B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with First class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech from AICTE recognized Institution 5. Scientific Officer: 01post Qualification: (i) First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, (Civil/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science Engineering) or First Class Post Graduate Degree in Science (Zoology/Botany/Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology) from a recognized University. (ii) Minimum 5(five) years working experience under any Organization of repute in responsible position in the field related to Science, Technology & Environment applications in Govt. or those having Master’s Degree in Engineering or Doctorate in Science, experience required would be only 2(two) years in the manner prescribed above 6. Blind Educator: 05posts Qualification: (i) Graduate of a recognized University. (ii) One academic year training in education of the Blind conducted by the Government of India, Department of Social Welfare. (iii) Knowledge of Bengali 7. Speech Educator: 04posts Qualification: (i) Graduate of a recognized University. (ii) Training in Education of the deaf from the I.S.I., Calcutta or from any other recognized training Institution. (iii) At least 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized School. (iv) Knowledge of Bengali 8. Inspector, Motor Vehicles: 01post Qualification: (i) Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized University/Board. (ii) Passed 3(three) years Diploma course in Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institution. (iii) Should have knowledge in M.V.Act, 1989. (iv) Should have knowledge in Bengali Recruitment Fees: (i) Group-A Posts: Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. (ii) Group-B Posts: Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs. 75/- (Rupees seventy five) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. (iii) Group-C Posts: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/-(Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
