NIRM is looking for Scientists/Scientific/Supporting/Administrative Staff on regular appointment/deputation as detailed under for its R&D activities at its KGF & Bangalore Units. Candidates should possess good analytical skills and scientific temperament, and be willing to work anywhere in India or outside on short/long term project assignments.

1. Scientist-II: 2posts  Qualification: 1st Class BE in Mining/Civil Engineering with 6 years experience (or) M.Tech./ME with 4 years experience, PhD (Science) with 2 years experience/PhD (Engg.) Age: Up to 40 years as on 1st Sept 2012 2. Scientist-III: 02posts Qualification: 1st Class BE in Mining/Civil Engineering with 12 years experience (or) M.Tech./ME/PhD with original work as evidenced by patents/ publications with about 10 years of R&D experience. Age: Up to 45 years as on 1st Sept 2012 3. Scientist-IV: 02posts Qualification: 1st Class BE in Mining/Civil Engineering /1st Class M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics/Applied Geology with 12 years experience (or) M.Tech./ME/Ph.D with original work as evidenced by patents/ publications with about 12 years of R&D experience. Age: Up to 45 years as on 1st Sept 2012 4. Scientist-V: 01post Qualification: (1) 1st Class BE in Mining/Civil Engineering /1st Class M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics/Applied Geology with Post Graduate qualifications in Rock Mechanics. (2) 15 years of experience in Research/Teaching/Industry with original work in Rock Mechanics as evidenced by patents/publications. Age: Up to 45 years as on 1st Sept 2012 5. Finance & Accounts Officer: 01posts Qualifications: Must be a Graduate with ACA/ICWA/SAS qualification Age: Up to 45 years as on 1st Sept 2012 6. Office Assistant-I (Hindi): 01post Qualification: (1) Must be a Graduate and be able to type 40 wpm in Hindi. (2) Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in Hindi typing. Age: Up to 28 years as on 1st Sept 2012. 7. Scientific Assistant-I: 05posts  Qualification: B.Sc (PCM) / Diploma in Mining/Mechanical Engineering/Technology of three years full time duration or its equivalent from a recognized Technical Board/University Age: Up to 28 years as on 1st Sept 2012. 8. Technician-I: 01post Qualifications: S.S.L.C with ITI Trade Certificate of 2 years duration Age: Up to 28 years as on 1st Sept 2012. 9. Driver Grade-I: 01post  Qualifications: S.S.L.C with LMV driving license with two years experience in reputed firm/ organization. Age: Up to 28 years as on 1st Sept 2012.
