National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, invites applications for admission in to its M.Tech. & M.Arch. Programmes for the academic year 2014-15

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/AMIE in appropriate discipline or a Master Degree in appropriate discipline with CGPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent)or 60%marks in case of Open/OBC Candidates in qualifying degree. Whereasin caseof SC/ST candidates a CGPI of 6.0 on a 10-Point scale (or equivalent) or 55% marks in qualifying degree will be applicable.
• The admission to M.Tech./M.Arch. programmes will be on the basis of valid GATE score in the year 2013or year 2014in appropriate subject. In every programme only certain combinations of eligibility degree disciplines and GATE subjects are allowed. The above table provides details of such requirements as well as availability of seats in each programme.
• However, the candidates sponsored from Govt. organization/institute are exempted from the requirement of valid GATE score. The DSC shall follow the criteria outlined in Section 2.3 in respect of such candidates
