The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology B.Tech. 2014 Admissions Announced

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has announced the B.Tech 2014 Admissions. The candidates have to qualify in both JEE Main 2014 and JEE Advanced 2014 to be eligible for admissions to the B.Tech programmes at the institute.

Various Bachelor of Technology Programs offered in IIST include:

• Aerospace Engineering
• Avionics Engineering
• Physical sciences

Selection Procedure
The candidates who are desirous to join B.Tech Programmes in IIST must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2014 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi to qualify themselves to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced)-2014 conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE (Advanced)-2014. 

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have the following eligibility criteria:

• The Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1989. The SC/ST and PD Candidates must have born on or after October 1, 1984.
• The Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) (SC/ST/PD must have 60%) completed MBBS course from an institute duly recognized by Medical Council of India. In case of SC/ST/PD candidates, the minimum aggregate is 60% marks.
