CCMT 2014

The Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan. (CCMT) is an admission process, which is aimed at providing a convenient platform for the student to apply forM.Tech., M.Arch., M.Plan. programmes in 26 NITs and 2 IIITs and several others centrally funded technical institutions.

Students, based on their GATE score of year 2013 or 2014, will be admitted into various NITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institute such as The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, Central University of Rajasthan and Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Longowal. 

Admission ProcessThe application process for CCMT 2014 is going to begin on April 16. This year, Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur is conducting the CCMT.

The important facility available in the process is students can fill one online application from anywhere and apply to all the programmes of all participating institutions to which they were eligible through the centralized counselling system. 

The participating NITs, IIITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes are offering more than 400 programmes with different eligibility conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant should have a GATE Score in the year 2013 or 2014
• In the qualifying degree a candidate MUST obtain minimum (i) 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% (where CGPA is not awarded) for OC/OBC (ii) 6.0 CGPA or 55% (where CGPA is not awarded) in case of SC/ST candidates.
• Candidates who have appeared for their qualifying degree final exam and are awaiting the results are permitted to apply. Such students can apply on provisional basis.
• Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa even if given by individual institute will not be considered/ allowed.
