Applications are invited from unmarried for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch (General Services) and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy for Jun 2013 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates fulfill conditions of nationality as laid down by the Government of India.

Qualification: Completed BE/B. Tech Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university for Technical /Submarine Branches and 65% for Executive Branch (GS) with one of the following streams:

Technical Branch (General Service):Engineering (E) Branch: (i) Mechanical (ii) Marine (iii) Automotive (vi) Mechtronics (v) Industrial & Production (vi) Metallurgy (vii) Aeronautical /Aerospace

Electrical (L) Branch: (i) Electrical (ii) Electronics (iii) Tele Communication (iv) Instrumentation (v) Instrumentation and Control (vi) Electronics and Instrumentation (vii) Electronics and Communication (viii) Power Engineering (ix) Control System Engineering (x) Power Electronics

Submarine Specialization:• Engineering Branch: Mechanical
• Electrical Branch: 'Electrical or 'Electronics' or 'Control' or 'Telecommunication' or Instrumentation

Executive (GS) Branch: • Executive (GS) Cadre: BE/B.Tech (Any discipline) 
Physical Standards: The candidates should not be colour/night blind & must be physically lit according to following physical standards

Height & Weight: Minimum Height for male 157cms with correlated weight

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview and Medical Exam. Interview will be conducted in two stages.
